Czy kobiecy układ nerwowy działa inaczej niż męski? Przez dziesięciolecia badania nad stresem prowadzono głównie na mężczyznach. Dziś wiemy więcej i ta wiedza zaskakuje.

W tekście przyglądam się temu, co mówią badania o hormonach, cyklu, modelu „troszcz się i zaprzyjaźniaj” i teorii poliwagalnej. Piszę też o tym, jak role społeczne i status zapisują się w naszym ciele.

Najważniejszy wniosek? Twoja biologia nie jest wyrokiem. Twoja reakcja na stres może się zmieniać.
